Multitasking: The correct approach towards achieving more in less time

Multitasking is a concept which has been highly misunderstood. Most people who I’ve  asked this question have responded that Multitasking means simultaneously being engaged in 2-3 or more tasks so that we get more tasks done in less time.

However, if an individual tries to focus on say 3 tasks simultaneously, what will result is a lesser than 100% attention on each task. Which means that if he/she is trying to do 3 tasks simultaneously, each task will get only 33.3 % attention and therefore there’s a chance that due to 66.6 % inattention, that task might get negatively affected. We will not be able to give our 100% attention to each task.

As it is, these days we are tremendously distracted, and rarely give our full attention to what we are doing. While we are eating, we are talking, watching TV, chatting on our mobile, reading, talking with someone etc. While we are driving we are answering calls or texting which often leads to accidents. Multi tasking, done this way can be nothing else but harmful.

The purpose of this post is to explain to you the correct way to multitask without losing our attention and concentration on any task.

To understand this, we will first have to understand that most of the tasks that we perform, essentially would comprise of two types of time components.

1. Value adding time (VA Time)

2. Non Value adding time (NVA Time)

VA time is that time where we are actually doing something that is a part of the Process for completing that task. NVA time is basically idle time or waiting time.

Let me give an example. If I am preparing stock for use in soup, The following steps would be involved in this task. let’s call it Task 1.

1.  Chop vegetables (say Beans, Carrot and Corn ) 5 Min- VA time

2. Pour water in a pot and add the chopped vegetable to it- 2 min – VA time

3. Keep it for boiling – Simmer it for 1 hour – NVA time

4. Check if stock is ready and turn off the heat source – 2 Min- VA time

5. Allow stock to cool for 5-7 minutes. – 7 Min- NVA time

6. Strain the Stock using a suitable strainer- 10 Min- VA time

7. Transfer the  stock to a bottle or jar and refrigerate for future use. – 5 Min- VA time.

If you study the above steps, VA steps are (Step 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 ) and NVA steps are (Step 3, 5).

Now, let’s say that I want to perform another task, Task 2, i.e. doing the dishes or mopping the floor, (which will take about an hour), I will have to parallel Task 2 with the NVA time of  Task 1.

In addition to the above two tasks, if my daughter wants me to help her with some math sums for 5-7 minutes, then I will have to parallel this task 2 with the next available NVA time of Task 1.

This way, I am actually performing three tasks in a particular span of 1-2 hours, however, at any point in time, each activity is getting my 100% attention.

This multitasking happens as shown below:

If you study the figure above, you will note that the Task 2 is scheduled in a way that it starts and completes within the NVA time of task 1. It can use the entire NVA time of task 1 or part of the NVA time of task 1. In case of Part usage as is the case here, it still keeps certain NVA time that still remains available for a third task – Task 3 which can be scheduled in the remaining NVA time available as shown. Again, as before, it should start and finish within the remaining NVA time.

Note that there is no VA time of one task that is overlapping withe the VA time of another task. This is very important to ensure that our attention to each task being performed remains 100% at all time.

Anyone who wants to Multi-task must follow this approach.

Listening with awareness can heal

When I tell people that awareness is the only thing that a body or anything for that matter requires to create instant healing, a frequent question that people ask me is that how can we create a state where we can feed our body or anything else with awareness or consciousness.

Well, the answer is simple. Actually, when the mind’s chatter stops and it becomes completely still, our being automatically gets into a very receptive state. We are then able to actually listen to the voice of the body, not by our ears but by our sensory acuity. This listening happens by all of our sensory organs.

Simply listening at the highest level then creates healing. You might have noticed,  when a child has a problem, the child cries. At that time, very often, if we simply give the child our attention, listen to him/her and try to understand what he/she wants to say, the child becomes silent. The problem is solved.

Always keep in mind that our awareness or consciousness is the key to good health. In all healing techniques one thing is common and that is the presence of awareness.

Also, an interesting thing to note is that when a body needs awareness, whether you yourself make it available for your body or whether someone else makes it available for your body, it doesn’t matter. Your body will simply gladly accept that awareness and quickly heal itself. This is because Consciousness is non dual. It is ONE and belongs to the universe.  Rather it’s a part of the universe. There’s nothing like Your awareness and My awareness. The source might be different but it remains the same in its one-ness.

So when I do healing for others, I know that they are probably not giving their bodies the required awareness and so I get into a deep state of awareness and provide my awareness to them as a gift with love. Awareness and Love is a deadly combination to kill all kinds of Pain and suffering. (Refer to my post on Heart Energy Healing dated 6th July 2019 and you’ll know how the scalar energy of Love can heal)

I simply get into a still state of mind and listen to the others body-bio-field using my sensory acuity. Then in that moment my awareness. I automatically get into the Zero point and healing happens at the deepest level.  Once Awareness and love is fed to the body, the magic of healing happens.

If this sounds interesting to you, then connect with me and I will be glad to teach you how to do this.

Three Steps to Quickly achieve a state of Bliss that can also help you in Healing

I have written this post keeping in mind the following two types of people:

1.  Those who are interested in becoming a Healer using the No Mind state of Bliss or the Zero Point.

2. Those who are keen on experiencing a deeply blissful state of presence in just a few minutes and eventually experience eternal bliss in their day to day life.

For both of the above, we simply need to achieve a state of ‘No-Mind’ where we are present at the deepest level of existence. At that state, healing self and others happens spontaneously.

Many people keep struggling to reach the point where they can experience a state of Bliss and end up trying various approaches to achieve this state. Fortunately there are hundreds of books written on this topic, however unfortunately most of them have made this process too difficult to understand and too cumbersome to practice. The process has been made too complicated by most experts. People simply get lost following several complicated processes and rituals, chanting, meditation, visualization etc and finally give up.

The need of the hour is a simple, straightforward and easy to practice method to experience bliss. Healing will come to you naturally and effortlessly just like a side effect. This post will introduce you to the simplest way to experience bliss in three easy steps as explained below.

What is important to note here is that the key factor that needs to be present throughout the process is ‘AWARENESS‘ .

Without awareness being present throughout, we will get nowhere. So, here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Become aware of your Body for 2-3 minutes or slightly more. Being aware means simply putting our attention to our body parts either one by one or together.  Best is to sit at one place and be aware of the body, breath, clothes touching the body, body touching the chair etc.  Simply do this for 2-3 minutes or more and you’ll experience a certain  feeling of Joy somewhere in your body and mind. This is typically a feeling of calmness, peace and happiness that you will feel within few minutes. It is often a feeling of lightness where your thoughts have drastically reduced. There will be a gentle smile on your face. For this, you could simply maintain awareness on your body or any slow action that you are performing. Even rubbing your tongue gently to the upper palate of the mouth is good enough to make us aware. doing this will deeply anchor us to the NOW/ PRESENT MOMENT , thereby creating a feeling of Joy . So, basically to sum up step 1, maintaining BODY AWARENESS for just a few minutes creates JOY. At this stage we are ready for step 2.

Step 2: Become aware of the feeling of JOY that you have felt in step 1 for 2-3 minutes or slightly longer, and within minutes you will experience a feeling of stillness and deep sense of calmness within yourself. You will feel very still, centered, deeply calm and peaceful, you might feel secure, complete, as steady as a rock and very stable. You will feel as if you have become immovable. This feeling is especially felt in the lower part of the body or at the base of the spine where we feel centered. So to sum up step 2, Maintaining AWARENESS of JOY creates STILLNESS. At this stage we are ready for step 3.

Step 3: Now simply become aware of the STILLNESS that you have started experiencing within and within a short while, say 2-3 minutes you will experience a deeply blissful feeling of mindlessness and bliss. This is a state where you might feel a complete absence of thoughts, no identification with the Ego, a sense of security and one-ness with everything around. It is a feeling of Unity (Advaita or Non-Duality) with the universe. This is often a floating feeling and you might feel as if you are endless. NO start, No end, just seamlessly present united with everything around. There’s an unbelievable feeling of Stillness, Feeling of being rooted deeply into the universal energy, a feeling of being seamlessly connected with everyone and a BLISSFUL feeling due to the state of No-Mind. It is a state where we experience our inner spirit. So to sum up step 3, Maintaining awareness of STILLNESS will create the state of BLISS.

To sum up the entire process, have a look at the figure below:

Once you learn how to reach stage 3 and have successfully done it a couple of times, you will find that the process now becomes easier as your awareness learns to identify the trigger of each state easily i.e. Awareness of Body, Joy and Stillness. You will learn to spontaneously and effortlessly get into step 3 which is Bliss very quickly and almost at your will.

Once you achieve this state of Bliss, You can do healing for anyone using the Triangulation method that is explained in an earlier post dated 20th July 2019. (Being aware of 3 points i.e. Point A on the Body of Patient, Point B on the body of the patient and Point C which is your state of Bliss. ). Instantly healing will happen without you doing anything.

Try this and let me have your feedback. Would love to hear from you.

Unresolved emotions can be the cause of disease

This post is on a subject that we normally do not give much importance to. However, I have realized over the years that the root cause of most illnesses (especially those ones for which modern medicine is unable to treat successfully) are caused due to emotional disturbances.

Even the ones that modern medicine claims to cure, come back to the patient again in the same or some other form  especially since modern medicine deals with the physical symptom rather than the root cause which is often emotional in nature.

People keep trying various kinds of treatments without any success not knowing that the root cause lies deep within themselves in the form of some or other emotions such as guilt, hurt, sorrow, humiliation, traumas, phobias etc that are not addressed or resolved.

Over the last 2-3 years, I have been treating a few cancer patients. One thing that I noticed was that each one of them had some emotional issues deep inside their mind. In some cases, it took me lot of effort to help them bring these out. While I was doing healing sessions, they too realized how deeply the disease and the emotion were connected.

There was one lady (suffering from breast cancer) I was treating who felt a particular intense feeling in her body every time I did the healing technique. Later she revealed that she was struggling with a very old emotion related to an attachment and physical relationship that she had prior to her marriage. She had guilt that she had not told her husband about this.

Every time I did a healing session fer her, she would report a choking feeling in her throat, prompting me to ask her what she was unable to express. Finally after several sessions and counseling, she spoke about it. I am confident that she is on her way to creating a healthy mind and Body for herself.

Another lady, suffering from Liver cancer has issues related to Anger, depression and lack of love by her partner. This is a case of having a partner who was just not sensitive to her emotional as well as sexual needs. I am sure that we have thousands of such women around who suffer due to these issues.

I was treating a lady with lower back pain and a feeling of lot of discomfort in her abdominal area. When asked, she said it felt like a knot which was there permanently. When I started treating her, her body suddenly went into a motion where the abdominal area and chest started moving back and forth. It seemed  as if she was having convulsions. However, when I asked her if she was in any discomfort, she replied that she was feeling really good and comfortable. After a while tears started rolling down her eyes and she started telling me things about her life, family etc including an extra marital attachment that she has with a certain person and the guilt that she lives with.

As she kept telling me all this, tears were rolling down but she seemed to be feeling better and better. In about 5-7 minutes she had a smile on her face and when I asked her how she felt, she told me that the back pain was gone and the knot like feeling in her stomach had also vanished. I realized that the clearing up of emotional energy had led to the healing. I spoke to her a few weeks later and she told me that she was completely cured. She was surprised how in that moment she told me all those things which she had never mentioned to anyone in her life.

The Dongui Bogam is a Korean book compiled by the royal physician, Heo Jun (1539 – 1615) and was first published in 1613 during the Joseon Dynasty of Korea. The DongUiBoGam states the following: “Liver is in charge of anger, heart is in charge of happiness, spleen is in charge of thoughtfulness, lungs are in charge of sadness, and kidneys are in charge of fear.”

Have a look at this link where Louise Hay has given a list of various diseases or health issues and the emotional aspect that these are linked to.

Causes of symptoms according to Louise Hay

I am confident that the healing process that I use works at deeper levels where the root cause exists and help us address the issue at the deepest level of nothingness where cleansing happens spontaneously and good health can be created instantly. I am hoping to actively experiment on this in future.
